System Requirements
Specifications for cloud editions of LabManager
Cloud LabManager can be accessed either via our dedicated client application, or via a web browser.
We recommend using the dedicated remote control application as this provides support for copy+paste as well as file sharing between LabManager and your computer. This application can be installed on Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 (64-bit editions) or Apple Mac.
Apple Mac will require the Microsoft Remote Desktop app to be installed.
To access via a web browser, we suggest using either Windows, Apple Mac or Linux. Major browsers should work fine.
Specifications for the desktop edition of LabManager
Operating System: Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP. (32 or 64-bit editions)
(The LabManager
application will not run on Windows S editions, Windows Phone, Windows Mobile, Windows RT, but check above for the cloud requirements, or below for self-hosted remote access requirements)
Hard drive space: Minimum 100MB. Recommended 1 GB +

RAM: Any modern low/medium or high spec PC will have sufficient memory

Remote working with the desktop edition of LabManager
It is not necessary to use remote control software with the cloud editions as you can access these from any internet connected computer.
For the desktop edition, you can easily work remotely from any PC or Apple Mac that is connected to the internet. See any of the many available facilities from these links or ask your IT person to set you up.
