clearer naming on customer statement monthly
The issues relate to terminology and layout. Some of our customers don't understand the summary info at the bottom.
1. balance fwd
2. Invoices.
3. Payments
4. Balance c/f
suggest
1. balance fwd (previous months):
2. Invoices. (current month):
3. Payments (received):
4. Balance c/f (amount due):Also, on the monthly statement variation, could we have the period printed as Month/Year in full
Or other…… we just need it clearer.
Also for the remittance advices to be marked for the month to which it was issued so they follow thru and it’s easier to reconcile mistakes.

Copy practice details across when creating a surgeon
In the control centre I went to surgeons then selected the practice then created the surgeon. I can copy the practice address to the surgeon using the blue arrow but I can't copy the practice telephone number and email address.
For my surgeons, they will all have the same telephone and email address as the practice - is there any way I can set these to be the same as the practice or do I have to type these in to every surgeon?
1 voteWith the forthcoming 7.08 update: In the wizard, if you add a surgeon, the associated practice details (ie. Tel1, Tel2, Mobile, Email, Website and Invoice address) are now pre-set on the surgeon dialog.

Practice Statement needs all dentists visible even if nil value invoiced
The Practice statement on the old version Transactor used to show ALL Dentists who are at that practice regardless of whether they were invoiced that month or not. I use both Practice Summery Statement and Practice Summary Invoice, and of course they now only detail Dentists that have an invoice value. Although I have sent not only the Individual Statement and the Practice Invoice to this particular Practice (where only 1 dentist was invoiced in Dec), they have still asked if there is anyone else who's account they are missing. If I start a new job, but don't book it in and just delete it, that job number is still "used up".
I can re-use the job number by changing the "Next job no." box in the setup wizard - but would rather not have to do this.

Produce a page of labels for a practice
Address Labels report will allow us to print a label for each practice, but we want to produce a number of labels for a single practice. The Address Labels-Repeats doesn't allow us to do this for a practice.

This is a comprehensive and 100% accurate report with Item Qtys and Net values. It also copes with work time unit apportioning if two technicians are assigned to the same job item. It is designed around the job tax date such that the report can be trusted not to have shifting results.

This has been changed in 7.08 onwards, so the default format for saving reports is PDF

customer type of Principal Account in addition to Principal Surgeon
I'd like two variations of the current 'Principal Surgeon' customer type..
Principle Surgeon (Surgeon is also the Principal Account at the practice)
Principle Account (person at the practice is not a working surgeon eg. practice manager).With these accounts we can receive payments in full from the Practice, then transfer the appropriate amounts out (payment type 'transfer from principal account') to the sub accounts.

would like a Practice Summary Invoice with a row for each job
similar to the Practice Summary Invoice Monthly but with the jobs listed 1 per row, under each Surgeon-sub group. Like a cross between the Customer/Summary Invoice monthly and the current Practice Summary Invoice. [Suggestion by lab 3577]

Would like to be able to send any document to queue then email to customer as one PDF
When booking out, for example, the single invoice and patient statement to be sent to the queue. We can then email the entire queue for a customer as a single PDF.
Currently we would send each individual document as a PDF to a folder, then zip up the contents and email it. The customer would then have to open each individual file and print it. This is time consuming for us and them.

Want to reprint delivery notes from an already printed queue
Without having to resend the delivery note from each job individually, then viewing the unprinted queue. ie. want to view printed batches as we could in T6

We add useful notes on our jobs, can we have a customer history list with a notes column?
So we can see the notes for all the jobs on that customer to help us in selecting the correct one.

In Batch Report Manager is it possible to have the send option include PREVIEW WINDOW.
Also is it possible to add the 'Summary Invoice Detailed' report which INCLUDES 'Note/Line Items' to the Batch Report Manager, as we can only run this off individually currently.
1 voteThe Summary Invoice Detailed can now to processed from the Batch Report Manager.
It is also now possible to send all reports to the preview window from the SEND page (use Preview as One Report) or you can preview each report individually after processing by clicking on the numbered icon to the right of each surgeon’s name.

rename the Exit button on the Email server
it's confusing at the moment i don't know whether to click the small X or the Exit button next to it, in order to simply close the window but leave the email server ON.
1 voteThe Emailer will now Hide/minimise when the X is clicked.
Additionally, the buttons on the Emailer have been simplified to just “Switch Off” (to close/exit) and “Hide” (to minimise).

Can we make it more obvious how to untick or remove multiple customers from the RDM list?
Finding the button to do this was not intuitive (the button appears to be called "Customers") and the phrase "Untick R1=0 customers" is a bit cryptic.

Info text for Dentist/Practice
Would be very very helpfull to be able to have 'running' text and semi-perminant notes against a Dentist AND/OR Practice. Currently its a matter of making a note on paper if you have...sent someone an updated pricelist, have e-mailed them your xmas shutdown times, or have a note of staff other than the Dentist at a Practice, for example. If this sort of info could all be noted against the practice, it would make Transactor really valuble and comprehensive!!
1 voteThe customer note is now displayed on the Main Form underneath the Customer’s address. To edit the customer note. Select the customer onto the main form, then choose Customer/Edit.
