An error occurred while saving the comment It's possible to create a single address label by using Report menu > Customers > Address Label (single). This can be produced either for the customer currently on the main form, or via a given customer ID, including practices.
This label only includes the customer name and address.

An error occurred while saving the comment On your version you should be able to right-click a note in the notes area and choose "Delete" from the menu that appears.
The 8.2 update is still in development.

please see question in comment
An error occurred while saving the comment sounds good but please define exactly which report you say is similar. eg 'Active jobs - booked in - by Due date'. Also which search criteria would be ideal. eg. (due date, booked in date, start date, practice)

not exactly that report, but you can use the standard sales by product report. selecting all the surgeons in a practice by Customer Tag. see comment
An error occurred while saving the comment As a work-a-round you can use the standard sales by product report. selecting all the surgeons in a practice by Customer Tag. as follows.
1. tag all the customers in a practice with an appropriate tag eg. STA1
2. run Reports\sales\by product
3. in the Customer box, Enter Customer Tag eg. STA1
choose the other criteria eg date range and sort and click OKnote:
1. refers to the Customer TAG which you can assign to each Surgeon/customer that works in a given practice. Onto a blank Main Form, select a Surgeon/Customer. choose Customer/Edit. Add a Customer Tag bottom right of the Customer Record window. You can add new customer tags in Control Centre/advanced/tags -

sounds like an interesting idea. needs some thought for the design however. see comments
An error occurred while saving the comment some questions arise. For example it there is a new tick box in the User Preferences. 'assign all line-items on new jobs to this technician/user if this person is the Logged In user.
1. What should transactor do, if that User edits an Existing Job which was created by another user?
2. If that User/Technician is logged in, should all lineitems default (be forced) to that Technician, or should there lineitems default to the Technician Default if it is set in the product properties setup.
3. If the Product lineitem's default Technician is blank (not set), then should Transactor automatically assign the current logged in Technician to each new Lineitem. Or.. Make that technican's name the only one available in the drop down combo list?
4. What should happen if the Technican is particpating in a job that requires several technicians. eg. Lineitem no 3 is for Gold Work, or Metal Work done by another technician.? -

An error occurred while saving the comment This could be achieved in a couple of ways:
If you're happy for the technicians to have Transactor Lab Manager installed on their computers, you can set up login names for each technician which they can use for modifying jobs (such as editing/adding job notes), although every technician computer that needs Transactor access would also need a licence... so you may need to purchase extra Transactor licences.
If it's preferable to 'lock-down' Transactor so the technicians have very limited access and can only edit job notes, this is possible with some programming work at our end. However, bear in mind you will still need a Transactor licence for every technician PC.
The final option is we can develop an add-on application which runs on each of the Technician PCs, which allows the technician to edit a notepad but gives no access to Transactor itself. This notepad can then be viewed on the Transactor computers and the operators can act on it accordingly. Creation of this add-on would be chargeable.
Kind regards

An error occurred while saving the comment We are currently working on improving the flexibilty of sending emails. This will include more control over the email subject and body text, ability to more easily view and re-send emails and more control over additional attachments.

An error occurred while saving the comment If you discount by Practice and there are, say, 5 surgeon accounts in the Practice... which account gets the discount credit ? Do they all get a proportion or does it go to a Principle account ?
An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting idea... If this is intended as a 'monthly' discount, then one possible way we could consider doing this is... to set up a TASK (similar to a report) that can be run before running the end of month statements. The TASK would scan all customer accounts, if any account balances exceed the 'set level' then a 'Credit' transaction is added to the account. How does this sound?

An error occurred while saving the comment An alternative option, Aged Deptors - aged by days, report. eg. 30,60,90+ days should do the trick. We will add this to the wish list.

An error occurred while saving the comment The latest 'private note' entry dialog is a multi-line edit window, it uses the 'enter' key as a 'start new line' command. So, it's a catch 22 situation, either we change the note entry window to be continuous text with no 'new line' ability and then the enter key would close the dialog, or it acts the way it does currently. We will think about this ?, maybe a setup option for the user to choose?

An error occurred while saving the comment When Booking out completed and producing a invoice, this message is intended as a reminder that there are 1 or more job items with no value. These are most likely intended, but, just in case an item was mistakenly not priced, then this message prompts the operator to do a final visual check before commiting to the Book Out.
An error occurred while saving the comment yes perhaps something clearer would be better.. eg. "This order has no value, do you want to continue to book it out?"

An error occurred while saving the comment Would going into the Control Center - Surgeons be easier for you?
We are considering providing facility to multiple select surgeons, and add or remove a Tag. Much like GMail does with it's Labels. Would this be useful?

Make the Allocate Credit list printable OR provide a report that show payments and their allocations
1 voteAn error occurred while saving the comment the former is a practical idea since all the allocations for a given credit could be printed if required. (Enable Right click menu in the current payment allocations window).

An error occurred while saving the comment We're considering this suggestion.
In the meantime the you could consider a standard report such as below for weekly date criteria from the Batch Report Manager:

An error occurred while saving the comment Hi. The Deliver To box on the Main Form has always been editable, so long as you're viewing an editable job.
It is possible to prevent Transactor from moving the highlight to the Deliver To box when you use the Tab key, though, so I wonder if this was a setting you had previously which has since been lost.
To add this preference, go to the Tools menu and then select Preferences to view the settings for the current user.
Click the green plus symbol to the right of the "Options" box at the bottom right.
Select "Skip Next Tab position - DeliverTo" then click the Select button
Click OK to close the user preferences. Now the only way you can reach the Deliver To box is by clicking it with the mouse.
An error occurred while saving the comment Yes you can easily configure Transactor to avoid this issue. The best method depends on how you do business with this customer. Read on..
1. Set the customer's usual delivery addr/practice in the customer record.
Retrieve the Customer onto the Main Form, Edit the Customer record (CTRL-G), clik 'Deliver to', choose and existing Delivery address (or add new). From now on, any new jobs raised will have the Delivery addr/practice automatically set.
2. If your customer tends to work out of more than one Delivery addr/practice. Create another account with the same customer name, but set the usual delivery addr/practice as appropriate. If the customer's invoice address on both accounts is to be the same, you will find it helpful to put some indicator in the first line of the invoice address, and/or the customer note box to help you differentiate between the two accounts. Note that in the Customer selector (when you are choosing a customer for a new job) the columns clearly show the customer's account ID, name and Delivery addr/practice so you can easily pick the right account for the job even if the customer has several accounts.
i hope this provides the solution for you, let us know. Thank you for your feedback.
