windows 8 problems with transactor 7
I tried the new version on windows 8 and got half way through the tutorial, then it crashed. Does this happen often? What can I do about it?

Transactor v7.4 has the correct windows 8 settings so this problem wont occur. Your current version can also be manually configured scroll down to see Comment 1. Hi Richard,
The version currently available on the website (version 7.02) does require a small change to the shortcut used to open it, in order to run correctly on Windows 8. We'll be posting a newer version (7.03) on our website this week that will not require you to do this.
On the Transactor 7 icon on your normal Windows desktop, right click it with the mouse and choose "Properties". Move to the "Compatibility" tab and tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" box, then change the box below this to read "Windows 7". Click OK and run Transactor 7 again from this icon - you should now be able to produce reports without any problems.
