  1. lineitems don't change colour when completed in T7

    In T6 there was a neat feature when an item on the job was marked 'completed' the row changed colour. i don't see this in T7

  2. 'Begins with'...... options increased

    When you look up active customers, it brings up a 'begins with...' box so you can put in a letter or two to search for the customer you require quickly.
    PLEASE could this be available elsewhere e.g. Inactive
    Customers, Inactive Products. And in 'control centre' for searching for 'Surgeons' and 'Practices'. I spend ages, scrolling up and down too fast then too slowly. I makes things so much more time consuming!, especially if you have several searches to do.

  3. Can we edit a financial item regardless of job state. In our case frequently the technicians name is not put in

    In our case frequently the technicians name is not put in if we need to alter this it’s a big job whereas if we could edit regardless of state it would really make a big difference to us.

  9. Is there an easier way to change an e-mail title when sending 'batch reports'.

    I've just sent a letter to all clients regarding infection control, but the e-mail title was regarding month end statements! This is because it was rather involved to create a letter and batch report it out and also when doing this it prompts you to chose a 'title' for the letter, so you kind of assume that's the e-mail title. I was so involved with what I was doing, that I omitted to go down the very convoluted route of going into control centre and tasks etc etc to change the e-mail title there.

  10. Allow emailing to primary email AND email list

    So we don't have to go back and add the same email address in email list box that we already entered into all our surgeon's primary email box.

  11. Don't clear the "For" box when changing the search method

    Suppose I am accidentally searching for Sales Items by Code. If I type something in the "For" box then click Search, then realise I want to change to searching by Description - the "For" box is cleared and I have to type my search terms again.

  12. We'd like to view Job History from the Jobs List

    This was possible on Transactor 6 by right-clicking a job in the list and selecting History from the popup menu. Now you need to bring a job onto the main form before you can view the job history.

  13. Please add a payment reminder facility

    Please add a payment reminder that will come up from the system if the clients are behind payment

    This will save us a lot of time, we are starting to send the clients payments reminder every 14 days after its over due.

  14. edit internal/private notes

    I sometimes want to edit internal notes, or correct a typo, but this is not possible. You have to add a new entry. Which is not ideal, and serves to confuse sometimes too. Also, I enter internal notes/codes with EVERY job raised so it's also frustrating that you can't just TAB into this field - like you used to be able to, but have to mouse click onto it. which does disrupt the job raising process.

  16. Subcontracted return date reminder

    I subcontract Ch/Co work.Is there any way Transactor could "flag" up the date when a particular subcontracted job is due for return.This would act as a reminder on that day.

    Yes Transactor can flag up these jobs on a daily basis, but you need to invoke a report or jobs list.

    Each close/or start of Day, print a job schedule report (Reports\Jobs\Booked In)
    This information is also available at any time by clicking Jobs List and choosing Active Jobs – Booked In by Due Date.

    Don’t forget to set the Job Due Date when booking in.

    If you want to restrict the report to a Department eg. ‘subcontracted Ch/Co’, then on booking in, assign the job to that department. In the Booked In jobs report choose that Department only.

    To add amend departments, use your Control Panel. (Setup Wizard, Debts / Stages).

  17. We would like to run some non-Batch Report Manager reports for customers with a particular tag

    Currently we'd like to run the Sales by Customer Grouped by Price Band for all customers we've tagged as NHS. The current settings only allow to choose "All customers" or a specific customer. We'd like to be able to select "Customers by tag" and select a tag.

  19. comprehensive statement

    Still, the amount of incorrect payments we receive is astounding and increasing. I'm sure we're not the only ones.

    The SUMMARY INVOICE contains all the necessary job info the client requires, but doesn't show a rolling total. The STATEMENT, while showing what is 'actually' due (accounting for any under or over payments), only provides basic job info. If these two reports could be amalgamated it would be truly comprehensive and time saving.
